A GLORY-OUS ALL-STAR BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!!

Friday night, the L.A. Sparks get back on the court for their first post All-Star game tilt. They will be taking on Glory Johnson and the tough Tulsa Shock. Johnson is averaging just a tad under a dub-dub this season (16pts/ 9.9 reb). Sunday, she played in the All-Star game in CT, dunked in pre-game warmups and, after the game, celebrated her 23rd birthday thanks to an assist from Britney Griner and Candace Parker in the West's locker room. I'll bet you didn't see this on ABC's coverage!

The L.A. v Tulsa contest is the first stop on the Sparks' five game road trip. I will join the team in D.C. to call Sunday's game (1pm-pt)with the Mystics on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and we'll be televising the rest of the road trip for you, too ( Tues @ CT  Thurs @ Indy  Sat @ NY)
