"TARK" and his towel oversee all the action
at the Thomas and Mack Center

Becky Hammon made history coaching the Spurs.
She is the first female head coach
 in summer league history.

Vlade Divac, the Kings' new V.P. of Basketball Operations,
was hangin out with DeMarcus Cousins.

While embattled Kings' head coach, George Karl,
got acquainted with free agent signee, Marco Belinelli.

How Karl deals with Cousins and controversial newcomer, Rajon Rondo, should make for great drama and intrigue in Sac- town!

USA= WORLD CUP CHAMPS!

Congratulations to the U.S.A. women's soccer team on their
World Cup Championship!

The team that lived on defense throughout the tournament,
kicked in the offense in the
championship game vs. Japan and won 5-2.

To put things in perspective, consider :

Team USA scored 5 goals in the championship game.

They scored 4 goals in the first 16 minutes vs. Japan
after scoring just 5 total goals in their
 3 previous WC games combined.

Team USA had scored only 9 total goals in the 6 WC games leading up to the championship game.

Carli Lloyd was the shooting star for the red, white and blue, but fate might have had a hand in this futbol championship.

After all, Team USA was playing on America's 4th of July weekend and their roster featured a player named Holiday.

Bravo!

Well done, ladies!

Let the celebration continue,
but keep Hope Solo away from the champagne.
